Multiple game modes for all tastes: although the highlight is still the different multiplayer modes (which have been renewed to accommodate a greater number of players per game), Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War also includes a solo campaign inspired by historical events and there is the welcome return of Zombies mode!. You will come face-to-face with several historical figures, as you battle around the globe through iconic war locations such as Vietnam, Turkey, Berlin, and the Soviet KGB headquarters. Epic campaign: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold war has one of the most enjoyable single-player campaigns ever created by Activision. You will be taking control of Bell, a soldier who is recruited into a multinational task force created in order to eliminate the alleged Soviet spy Perseus, a cold-blooded individual who has been hired to subvert the United States' army and help the Soviet Union to regain the balance of power. 
In terms of a timeline, the game is a sequel to the events of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops and a prequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The events of the single-player campaign take place during the notorious early 1980's Cold War.
